In partnership with the British Council and Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development. This editorial role involves overseeing the production over a 30-month period of a sequence of CPD courses by a team of Pakistan-based and international writers. The programme, which will be mandatory for a population of 108,000 teachers, comprises 90 hours of materials to be delivered in 5 courses, focusing on oral communication skills, reading and thinking skills, writing skills, language structure and social development.
The materials will be carefully aligned with the Pakistan curriculum and textbooks for grades 1 to 5. The project team will also be responsible for producing a training package, based closely on the course materials to be delivered through a trainer training course for 1000 District Subject Experts, who in turn will cascade their training to 3,300 Area Education Officers.
