Lise Belle
is an international ELT (English Language Teaching) consultant. She has over 30 years experience in the field of ELT, both as a teacher of primary and adult learners and as a teacher educator. She has worked for more than 20 years as a freelance consultant on internationally recognised training courses accredited by the University of Cambridge such as TKT, CELTA, YL Extension to CELTA and DELTA both as a trainer and assessor responsible for quality standardisation globally. She has been a lead trainer on train-the-trainer and is a Cambridge CELT-P and CELT-S tutor. She has designed primary teacher training courses for International House Sydney and IH World and has also worked on customised courses for mainstream primary and secondary teachers of English as part of education reform projects in the MENA region. She has also been involved with various NGOs in Cambodia, working with vulnerable women and children and providing methodology, curriculum/materials design and mentoring support to local teachers.
Her experience as a teacher educator covers a wide range of global contexts, including S.E Asia, Latin America, Australia, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe.
