is an ELT professional, with over twenty years’ experience in English Language teaching, teacher training and materials development. Formerly, she worked on British Council teacher development projects in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand, managing, writing and delivering a diverse range of training courses to state sector primary and secondary teachers of English.
For the last eight years Jane has been working as a freelance educational consultant and is the co-author of a successful upper primary coursebook series (Cambridge Global English, Stages 4-6). She has taken a leading role in developing adapted versions of the series for specific cultural contexts in the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan, consulting on content development and classroom application. She has developed other primary course content for Cambridge University Press and Pearson Education in print and digital media. She is also the producer and editor of four British Council video training series for primary and secondary state schoolteachers, working with partner organisations in East Asia, India and Pakistan
