is an international ELT consultant currently based in Ireland. She has been involved in training and development on a number of Educational Reform projects for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary level teachers from China, Iraq, Libya, Tunisia, Lebanon, Turkey, UAE, Peru, India, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and South Sudan. She is also an experienced Cambridge CELTA tutor, working with pre-service English Language teachers in a variety of contexts.

Fiona has taught English for over 25 years and her experience includes English for Academic Purposes to both Undergraduate and Postgraduate learners in a UK/Irish university context, in-company Business English Teaching, Cambridge and IELTS Examination preparation and the teaching of Younger Learners, most recently in Sri Lanka in 2017.

Fiona has held Academic Management positions in the Private ELT sector and is skilled in areas such as recruitment, mentoring and monitoring of teaching staff, syllabus design, test writing, and the development of in-house teaching and training materials. She also gained external experience of writing when working for a publisher on a long-term project writing Primary coursebook materials for the UAE Ministry of Education, and when training, mentoring and monitoring Secondary coursebook authors in Kazakhstan.
