Dr. Susan Barduhn
is a freelance Teacher Educator and Consultant. She was a Professor for 13 years at SIT Graduate Institute in the U.S.,and Academic Chair of the MA TESOL Low Residency Program, as well as Director of the Teacher Training and Professional Development Institute. She has been involved in English language teaching as teacher, trainer, supervisor, manager, assessor, program designer, and consultant; and she has worked for extended periods in Kenya, the U.K., Switzerland, Colombia, Spain, and Portugal. Susan Barduhn is a Past President of IATEFL; the former Director of The Language Center, Nairobi and was Deputy Director of International House, London. Susan’s areas of interest and research are teacher thinking, intercultural communication, identity, and teacher and trainer development.
