Angelos Bollas
has been in ELT since 2006. He now works on Cambridge CELTA courses and as a freelancer offering in-service teacher training programs to teachers, managers, and institutions, focusing on LGBTQI+ inclusive education, teacher development, and course design.
After having taught general English and exam preparation classes, Angelos focused on English for Academic Purposes, preparing learners for university studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level, designing EAP courses, and training teachers for EAP contexts.
When he is not training, Angelos enjoys being a member of IATEFL Conference Committee, a member of IATEFL Teacher Development committee, and an #ELTchat co-moderator. He now works towards completing his PhD exploring the absence of LGBTQI+ references in language education and its effects on learners’ motivation.
