is a freelance learning & teaching development specialist, materials writer and ELT consultant currently based in Dubai. She is a primary-trained teacher and is CELTA and Delta qualified. She holds an MA in Public Administration an MEd in Education. Her management experience includes 5 years as Director of studies for a group of language schools in New Zealand & Australia, responsible for the academic management and development of teaching staff.

As a consultant teacher-trainer she has worked in a wide range of global contexts for ministries and educational institutes in the public and private sector, mainly in the middle-east, Asia and Central Europe. She has been involved in a number of Educational Reform projects for primary and secondary with teachers from Morocco, Lebanon, UAE, Algeria, Tunisia, Oman Kazakhstan, and Ethiopia. She is an experienced Cambridge Delta module 3 tutor and a CELTA tutor and assessor.

Anna is passionate about teaching Young Learners and IELTS. She works as an IELTS Expert for IDP IELTS and designs bespoke face-to-face and online teacher training course and materials for the MENA region. She regularly presents at international conferences and has most recently been involved in writing materials for Macmillan and the British Council. Her research interests are educational psychology, teacher development and enhancing effective learning.
